Day 16 260.4 lbs

Ugh! That’s what I say to this days weigh in. 2 tenths of a pound yesterday, and I thought I was so good and stuck to my plan. No reason to abandon all though.

Yesterday I listened to Dr. Fuhrmans book. “Eat to Live”. In that he lays out a more aggressive weight loss plan that consists of almost no starch of any kind, and no grain but most calories should come from leafy greens, vegetables and fruit along with legumes. Beans and lentils are in. Oatmeal, my favorite is OUT! At least for a while, until my weight starts to jump start downward again.

Today I’ll start trying to figure out how to make things like cabbage and white bean soup, a three bean chili using red kidney, black and pinto beans with mexican tomato sauce called, el pato. I have ideas on how to do this and make it not suck so it’s time to get to work on that, and do it well so I can stick to it for a good while. We’ll see how that goes. I have high hopes.

My daily pictures are getting better. Not only am I getting better at taking them, but there are improvements in how I look in the mirror without a shirt. This is a great thing and is keeping me going more than a lot of other things. Maybe one day, when the nasty is all gone I’ll make a pictures page for a before and after.
