Day 4 267.9 lbs

Today I watched a video on BP from Dr. Robert Baron of UC Medical center and realized I’ve been taking my BP all wrong. This is sad because I thought I had a real problem. If you do something that makes you feel like you have a bad problem on your hands, but then you don’t really, it’s sad and wonderful all at the same time. As it turns out, the device I have probably isn’t all that accurate AND I was doing it all wrong. So from here on out I wont be including BP as part of my daily chart. If you’re curious, you can go to You Tube and search for Dr. Robert Baron on UCTV and find his 90 min talk.

Not much deviation today from the actual plan. I have to admin having had a piece of fruit and a tiny handful of walnuts. The monotony is killing me,.. never thought I’d be so damn tired of potato.

Every year past there’s been a weight loss contest at work. My employer does these funny little things to try and brighten the mood around the office. Team buildings and weight loss contests and such. Anyway, I ran into our HR VP in the break room and he mentioned I already looked a but thinner. I think the water weight loss the first couple days is showing in my face. I normally shy away from such things like contests and group competitions so when I told him I wasn’t just going to compete this year, but win, he was a bit shocked. And then he realized I was serious and already on the journey to get rid of the weight. He asked what I was up to, and I said, “I can’t talk about fight club”.
