Yesterday, I wrote a long post on what I’m trying to lose weight. I should add that I have a withings scale and a BP cuff that uses my wrist. I started taking my BP a couple days beforehand and really didn’t like the numbers I saw, which added some motivation. You see that number above, it was terrible! I should have been on meds,.. and I don’t know how long it was like that. If there was any thoughts about what a day, a single day, without salt, fat and sugar might do for your BP,.. try it. What have you got to lose?

Part of the “cray-Ray” protocol is cold mild stress. He says that cold mild stress can cause your cells to hunker down into survival mode, which helps them not to age. I really don’t have the details on exactly how it happens, you need to find his research on that to see why. I started the cold cycling shower of 30 seconds of warm and 30 seconds of cold, back and forth for a few minutes ending on a cold cycle. The theory is that your body is a heater, a major portion of the use of calories is production of heat within the body. Cold water tends to increase the required production of heat, which means calories burned. It all makes sense if you think of it on those terms.

Ate nothing but potato between noon and 7pm yesterday,.. No salt, fat or sugar! I know most of my weight loss was water, but it sure looks good and provides motivation.
